Do you know what you will say when faced with a tough situation at work? How do we respond when situations are not fair, colleagues are acting badly, and we are faced with having to deal with a situation we wished would just go away?

Questions to consider:

  • What is one situation that could very well happen at work where you are going to be confronted or become very uncomfortable?
  • What can be our “first response” to any kind of perceived surprise attack that will buy us some time to regain composure and bring our Jesus into the situation?
  • Brainstorm some ways in advance that you could manage the situation – beginning with your thoughts (what you want to think), then your words (what you will speak) and finally in deed (what you will do?)
