February: How to show Love – Hesed (Lovingkindness) in the workplace
Harvard Business Review published an article that stated that people in the workplace who feel loved perform better.
Most likely, you are extending lovingkindness and perhaps are not even aware of what you are doing or the possible wonderful side effects it can have on another’s soul.
At our upcoming events, we will explore various ways to express lovingkindness in the workplace.
March: Finding Joy in Difficult Moments
Joy is a small word packed with mighty uplifting power. It can put into perspective even the most trying or painful moments.
As C.S. Lewis writes ‘Joy is the serious business of heaven.’
- Joy elevates above the difficult moments.
- Joy sustains in the tedious and trying moments.
- Joy promises not relief but release of expectation and needs in the most excruciating moments.
Joy, as Karl Barth once wrote, is the simplest form of gratitude.
As we fellowship together, we will remind ourselves of the joy found in Christ alone. Joy draws us near to Him Who sustains each and every day.
