No one ever told Jesus to rest. But they did continually demand more from him. And what about the throngs of people? To read the gospels is to read a lesson in crowd control. Jesus was remarkable at managing large groups of people. Then there was the infinite needs around Him that He alone had the capability, because He was God, to satisfy, but because He was human, did not have the capacity to do it all. How did He decide what to do, where to go and when to stop? What helped Him discern when to minister and when to be ministered to? This is a critical topic as we head into the holidays.
