Nov: Effective Christian Leadership
We are ALL leaders, whether we have staff reporting to us or not.
The definition of a leader is one who coaches, guides, and inspires others. They motivate through challenging times and foster a collaborative culture and lead by example.
Here’s what the Bible says about effective leadership:
In Matthew 20:25-28, Jesus tells His disciples that leaders should not exercise authority over people. Instead, whoever wants to become great must lower himself to be a servant. Leaders realize that serving others is the only way to lead with a pure heart, free of pride and arrogance.
May we all lead our lives with a servant’s heart so that others may be inspired to seek Him!
December: Abundance vs Scarcity
Throughout the Christmas season – we can feel both Abundance and Scarcity with
- Our time
- Our energy
- Our patience
- Our gift giving
- Our outlook each day
Do I worry that there will not be enough (of my time, energy, patience…) – or do I trust in God’s abundance that somehow, He will always make a way.
God’s love for each of us is always abundant – and we often need to think and live counter-culturally to the world’s pace and the hustle and bustle of the season to rest in that abundance.
This season, instead of the fear of scarcity, let’s talk about how we can have eyes to see His abundance in our lives and that His love and care are more than we need.
